Sleeping Mask - A Dollar Store No-No

When the sun comes up earlier than you plan to wake up, it is a good idea to use a sleep mask to get your full amount of beauty rest. I am a night person and was not getting the sleep I needed, so I thought a cheap sleeping mask for my eyes would solve the issue.

There is a reason this sleep mask was being sold in the dollar store. It allows light to come through the thin, light fabric, and the bands that hold it on are rough and thin. You will wake up with stripes on your cheeks, and if your skin is especially sensitive, you may end up with a rash.

Did I get my beauty rest? Well, to be truthful, I noted the light coming through the mask and found the straps far too uncomfortable. I may have endured two minutes of it.

If you need a sleep mask in order to get your Z's, be willing to pay a little more. If you desire quantity and quality of sleep, it is best not to be cheap about it.
