Article marketing is one great way to bring targeted visitors to your website. When it comes to article marketing, if you do not have the skills or the time to write about your niche, you have a few choices.
1. Hire a freelance writer. A freelance writer can write original articles targeted for your particular niche for you to submit to directories or they may submit the articles for you. If you do not want to pay the price for original copy, you can purchase PLR articles in bulk and have writers rewrite them for you at a cheaper rate. Yes, there IS such a thing as unique PLR and a good rewriter will do that for you.
2. You can get the articles for your site from the article directories, providing you leave the resource box right where it is and so provide a link from your site to the owner of the article. It is a great way to market a site. But when you do this, you'll end up with duplicate content, which will eventually decrease your rankings in the search engines as fresher content on the same topic is published. If you want to do this, it is a good idea to trade articles and links with sites that have similar (though not competitive) interests, choose the newest contributions, and replace with new content within a few days.
3. You can purchase PLR articles and "spin" them with special software that is supposed to retain the same meaning, but be written in different words. This is ridiculous. The article spinners make a mockery out of quality. If you have never seen this, try an online spinner. The one I tested turned the word "man" into "negro". "The negro harmed her car." (instead of "the man punched the hood of her car") At one point, where the word "sex" was used for "gender", the spinner replaced it with an expletive. The **** of the person is invisible (unknown)". ) Imagine the reaction of your readers when confronted with THAT type of content.
Hire a freelance writer. I'm not even telling you to hire ME (though of course I would prefer it). Just hire a real writer and have them write your ORIGINAL articles along with complete rewrites. Don't hire the cheapest writer you can find, either. While you may be tempted to pay someone $1 for a 500 word article, doing so will get you work that is shoddy, copy and pasted, spun, OR you will be taking advantage of someone who is desperately trying to feed their family and when a better offer comes along, they will jump ship -- and tell me, could you REALLY blame them?
There are decent writers who will give you quality work for a decent price.
If you want to bring in real and repeat customers, respect their intelligence by providing quality content. Hire a good freelance writer.
