The Sugar-Free Diet: Worth a Try
When Dr. Olson first contacted me about trying his sugar-free diet, I was skeptical. The idea of going completely without sugar for an entire month seemed crazy! But after reading his book, “Sugarettes”, I realized that the idea did make sense. I also realized that it wouldn’t kill me to give it a try.
I had been blogging about the pain I was in and the problem I was having losing weight when Dr. Olson took notice and asked how I would feel about trying his diet and writing about it. I had carte blanche to write anything I wanted — even if it was negative.
Those thirty days were some of the hardest in my life. For the first few days, I craved sugar more than I’d ever craved it and I almost gave in more than once but after one week, I noticed a change in the way I felt. My muscles weren’t sore, I felt more clear-headed and I had lost 4 pounds!
I lost 12 pounds in those thirty sugar-free days. I learned something too. I learned that the idea of going without sugar is actually worse than the reality.
If you need to lose weight, have difficulty with concentration, feel jittery or have chronic muscle pain, read “Sugarettes” and try going sugar-free for thirty days. It has been working for hundreds of people, including me.
